Our first week of camp was dedicated to our favorite 💜 furry roommates! In 'Beloved House Pets', each artist was busy - drawing, painting, and sculpting 🐈cats, 🐕 dogs, 🐟 fish, 🐦birds, and even made clay axolotls and lizards. Most students brought in images of their own loved ones from home for a photorealistic masterpiece. It was a true menagerie of art! ✨

Last weekend's Saturday Studio was all about 🐉🖤 Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon! Our young artists followed a guided lesson to make their own unique Toothless illustration, and then got hands-on with polymer clay to make a mesmerizing ✨dragon-eye medallion. Addison, our long-time Advanced Art Club student, came in to practice poses and wow us with her skills. We cram a lot into two hours and the time flies by!

Introducing the debut of our NEW ✨MicroBoo Art Gallery✨ featuring the artists of our Advanced Art Club! As a group, the class agreed on a theme and designed the layout of the exhibition. Each talented teen chose one color of the rainbow as their guiding pallet and chose a flower to incorporate into their artworks 🌸 To see their works up close, you can come by the studio or view them at the link in bio.

We will display works from summer camp over the next few weeks and then alternate student work with local artists as well! Are there any Averyboo Alumni out there who want to do a show? Feel free to submit samples for consideration for exhibition in the fall🍂

New camps have been added to the schedule including a fav from the past! Not only will ✨Fashion Art Camp✨ include tie dye but we'll deconstruct shirts into new garments and craft trendy accessories to match. Throughout the week campers will also make artworks inspired by art & fashion for a truly fun & unique ART CAMP!

We surveyed our students and they said they want more ✨Cute Kawaii Creations✨ so we've added that too. It's already artist approved!

The release of Jurassic World is coming soon and this gives dino-lovers a chance to make ✨ dino-inspired-art✨ in camp with us starting July 7th! Older campers will have a chance to practice making more realistic/creepy works while little ones will be grouped to make more tame/fun works at their developmental level.

👉Note: Any family that signs up for camp with us this year will lock in 2025 base price for next summer.
