Averyboo Arts in Lakewood, CA offers 3 distinct art enrichment classes for almost every age. Our classes are designed to nurture budding artists in their creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking at every stage of development. The lessons are unique for each age range - crafted to suit the skills of each group, while also challenging them to grow! Little Picassos: ages 5-7. The foundational class for the youngest children to start their creative journey. Children learn art concepts and techniques, as well as develop their fine motor skills. Students have an opportunity to experiment with various art materials. The class is 45 minutes long - just long enough to create some fun art and practice patience, but not get too wiggly!
Awesome Art 1: ages 6.5-9.5. For the art-aware child, this class presents a variety of beginner to intermediate techniques. Children are encouraged to create more challenging art. The projects use a wider range of mediums and techniques. This class is 1-hour long.
Awesome Art 2: ages 9.5-13+. For children who are serious about their art! Artists learn a variety of finishing techniques in addition to building on existing skills. This class has more complex projects and allows young artists to develop their own unique style. This class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
Each class uses a range of techniques and materials gathered to challenge artists of every age. Students will learn skills that enrich every aspect of their young lives.
